The Rho Kappa Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. will award academic scholarships to Loudoun County high school seniors who pursue full-time enrollment in a community college, career-technical college, or 4-year college/university in the Fall of 2024.
Awards are based on financial need, academic achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, and community service. The Rho Kappa Sigma Education Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select the final awards.
The scholarships awarded range from $500 – $1,000 for the 2024 – 2025 academic year and must be applied to tuition, fees, supplies, books and tools/equipment.
Eligibility:
African American or of African descent. 2024 Loudoun County high school graduate with a minimum of 2.5 GPA; based on a 4.0 scale. Demonstrate volunteer commitment of time to support the community and leadership skills. A current resident of Loudoun County, Virginia.

__ Letter of intent
__ Two professional letters of recommendation

Community (Religious Leader, Work Supervisor, Community/Volunteer Project Leader, etc.)
All documents must be received via email or postmarked by May 31, 2024. Applications submitted after the deadline and or incomplete applications will not be considered.
